Paul Jacobsen provides services as an arbitrator and mediator in the Upper Midwest. He is a licensed attorney and is qualified as an approved neutral under Rule 114 for civil mediations, civil arbitrations and family law mediations. He is also on the construction and commercial arbitration panels of the American Arbitration Association and is acertified mediatorby the International Mediation Institute, an international organization based in the Netherlands.
When he was an attorney with Briggs & Morgan from 1984 until 1995, Paul litigated hundreds of cases in numerous areas of the law, including construction, commercial, personal injury, insurance coverage, professional design malpractice, real estate, aircraft purchasing, equine law, environmental law, and mechanic's liens. He has also handled appellate cases before the Minnesota Court of Appeals, the Minnesota Supreme Court, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Since 1995, he has been providing ADR services in the upper Midwest, by attorney and judge referral and through the AAA. His arbitrations and mediations have concentrated in the areas of construction, commercial, personal injury, family law and real estate. HE has conducted over 1000 mediations, the vast majority of which have resulted in settlement.

Sally Jacobsen provides custody evaluation services for parents who are disputing the parenting time and custody arrangements for their children. She has completed the Solomon's Surrogates Custody Evaluation Training through Hamline University and has completed a number of custody evaluations, including trial testimony when needed. In her work as a substitute teacher for over ten years, she has interacted with thousands of different children with all varieties of home life. As a teacher, community volunteer and mother of three, she understands what children need to succeed in life.
